Frosty fells sunrise, Lake District

Frosty fells sunrise, Lake District - Black-and-white
Image reference number: BW0009

First, light on a frosty Skelgill bank with its dark path and worn in footprints working their way down the hillside to the freezing fog below, hidden in the fog is Derwent water and the town of Keswick, overshadowed by Skiddaw massif in the distance.

On this morning, I was heading to the South part of the Lake District but decided on a hunch that there might be some elusive mist in and around the Keswick area further north, something that I have been trying to capture for more than four years.
